Taqueria Chihuaua in Giddings

The tacos are to die for, if your ever passing through Giddings and want a Bomb Taco, stop in and grab you one, I promise you wouldn't be disappointed.

It is the best restaurant I've been to why because everything there was fresh even the tortillas were fresh right off the grill all homemade and it is hard to find a restaurant that has fresh food it was like going to grandma's house for breakfast and no one can beat grandma's food but his place has a good chance the food the hospitality and the service is excellent

The line took forever, but it was totally worth it! Fajita tacos we're delicious and hot even though they came off the steam table....that was a surprise. Also, the fried gordita with beans, eggs, potato, bacon and cheese was killer! Salsa Verde was pleasantly spicy!

The tacos were HUGE!! I almost couldn't finish 1. Line was super long, but this was my first time and I was told ahead of time by a friend the line moves quick. So dont fear the line!!

I always stop here for a breakfast burrito when passing through. The burritos very good and inexpensive. They are pretty big so you only need 1. I definitely recommend this place especially if you always pass by Giddings because you doing yourself Injustice.

Was passing through Giddings and accidentally showed up here thirty minutes after they closed for the afternoon. Despite this the ladies still offered to feed us and made some of the tastiest brisket burritos on fresh flour tortillas I've ever had! They were super kind/sweet and I will definitely be back every time I'm passing through giddings! Definitely recommend this place!

I had the #3 and #8 both were delicious.

The breakfast burritos are the best, add salsa and its great! The fajita one, not so much, that's why i give a 4 stars and a half. 4.5!

Always my only stop when passing through while on the road. The natural drinks are amazing. I'm on a low to no meat regimen, so being able to choose my ingredients is a true thumbs up

Tried this place out 3.2.19. OMG everything homemade and awesome! Waited on line for over an hour.. well worth the wait. Got 2 #8 and one each of 9 21 22. One fill you up. Got extra for later for my daughter and I. You gotta try this place out. If you call in an order to go.. it's still a 45 min wait ha ha ha I'm going to try a gordita at the next time! 💜💚🧡😋

Most amazing Tacos in the world, very fast and the staff are the most friendly , courtesy and down to earth people I have ever meet. I recommend that every one should try Taqueria's out . YOU WONT BE DISAPPOINTED. 💯💯💯

Okay so this place has the best breakfast tacos thus far. I mean come on when your eating bacon egg and cheese tacos and it automatically brings you home to grandma's homeade tortillas crispy bacon and cheesy beans we'll need i say more? This establishment is non stop busy and they close super easy .. hmm

One of the best places to get tacos in Giddings. Need to get there early, as they get crowded as the morning goes on.

I'm only giving 5 stars because I can't give 8 or 9! Although there's other places to get a breakfast taco, some mornings I have no problem waiting behind a couple dozen people to get mine because the food is awesome!!! This place is also a perfect example of the American dream, folks who are mostly family and making it happen!Shop local!!!

Very nice little Mexican restaurant. The tacos are pretty big. There is only one menu on the wall. It could be a little more informative, but overall a great place for tacos.

Great stop on the way from Austin to Houston. Feels like a family run business. Good was good, process were more than fair, nice atmosphere and the people were friendly and helpful. Would go back again.

Giving it a 3 because the wait time was unbelievable. One person fixing tacos, probably 10 cooking. Food was great, just took way too long!

Authentic tacos made the way you want with lots of ingredients to choose from. They are always very big and filling and the sauce is spicy and awesome. Unless you're real hungry, one taco is probably enough. They are well known in the area so it could be quite busy early in the morning but usually it doesn't take too long to get your goods.

My family haphazardly stumbled into this taco place on our way home from Austin. We are so glad that we did!!! The food served here is fast, delicious and very inexpensive. To feed someone is to love them!!! I feel the love every time we visit!!! If you have the opportunity stop in and patronize this great establishment.

A close friend of mine who is from Giddings said I had to stop here on the way to Houston from Austin. I'm glad that I listened to him. So this place is dirt cheap. The average burrito here costs $3.50. They are generous with the portions of food that they give you though. If you are only a little hungry one burrito will be plenty. Even if you are very hungry two burritos is too much. This business is CASH only. Also they close at 2pm everyday so keep that in mind.I got the Carne Guisada, and my friend got half Chipotle Chicken and half Bistec Ranchero. They use flour tortillas here and they are fresh AND hot. Okay... both burritos were amazing. So many flavors going on. I can't believe they cost as much as they did. Both the Bistec Ranchero and Chipotle Chicken were quite spicy (especially the Bistec) so be warned. Can't recommend this place enough!

If you're from the El Paso or CD. Juarez area and you're missing the local food, then this is the place for you, the owners are from Chihuahua so you know the food is gonna be amazing, I definitely recommend this restaurant.

My family has been coming here for 20 years and have seen them transform into an even larger operation. Today while ordering we noticed again that the lady making our burritos was the same person who made our food 20 years ago. You can really feel the pride and hard work that has gone into their business and you can taste it in their food. All of their burritos are amazing whatever your preference!! Highly recommend.

I absolutely love this place... Their burritos are my favorite and I love that their tortillas are homemade right in front of you.... If you happen to go on a Saturday try their Menudo its very good, but they only have it on Saturdays. Nothing beats their Horchata its the best I have had around this area.

meet a friend here for lunch. they had outdoor dining going and couldn't have been more friendly. lots of food for the money spent and it was terrific tasting too.
